Samoens enjoys its first snow of Autumn 2016 as the Alps  received good covering of the white stuff last weekend. Located in the Haute Savoie, Samoens is linked to the ski resorts of Morillon, Flaine, Sixt and Les Carroz, to form the Grand Massif.  The Grand Massif is the  4th largest ski area in France, and offers a good variety of slopes to all ski and snowboard abilities. It boasts 148 pistes, including the 14km long Cascades.

Cascades is a blue piste and one of the longest in France. It links Flaine with Sixt and we enjoy stunning views all the way. Return to Samoens is easy by ski bus!

Long may the snow continue!
