Goodbye Ski season 2017

Goodbye Ski season 2017! It was a mixed season. A slow start with temperature inversion turning Samoens village into a scene from Narnia, with warmer temperatures up at the top of Samoens 1600. This was followed by some lovely heavy snowfall and blue sky days in January. Perfect ski conditions. February was warmer than usual but regular flurries of snowfall refreshed the slopes and the conditions were very good at the top of the resorts. March brought more of the same, and the resorts stayed open for Easter, finally drawing to close today. Already looking forward to season 2017 / 2018!
